A MESSAGE FROM LEO

I have come to realize over the many years I’ve played and taught this wonderful game, that golf is so much more than learning a sport; it’s learning about yourself and life. Golf is a bit unique among sports in that when you are standing over that ball, readying your swing, you are truly all alone.

There are not a lot of examples in sports that give you that sense of “oneness.” Certainly some events in track, gymnastics and winter sports require that inner peace for successful execution, like golf does. But because of golf’s environment, the expectations you have as a golfer and the very social landscape in which it exists, golf offers players just starting out, the opportunity to apply life’s lessons to their world view.

That’s why I speak about golf in such laudatory terms. Whether you are hoping to compete, join your high school or college team or go further and make a career of it, the skills you acquire through golf will carry you throughout your life no matter what path you’re on. Being able to focus, letting go of disappointing outcomes and moving on, and conducting yourself with the decorum expected of golfers, are very important skills that will serve you throughout your life.

Let me help you realize those goals and prepare you for what lies ahead.

2023 Advanced Summer Academy

I’m pleased to announce our 2023 Advanced Summer Academy. We have a lot of great plans in store and we will be offering A SPECIAL EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT for those parents that reserve NOW for one or more of the week-long Academies. Reservations will open the week of Thanksgiving Holiday and the end of February 2023.
