A MESSAGE FROM LEO

I’ve been teaching golf for nearly 50 years and I can tell you that, while there are lots of new practice aides to help reinforce the feeling of a proper grip, posture, and balance, the basics are still the basics. One such basic is the “leaning shaft” — the angle and position of your hands in relation to the club face. For some players, “leaning shaft” says it all; for others, it’s not always that clear. So, I look for a different perspective to help drive home the lesson.
